The Story of Ping, Mike Mulligan and the Steam Shovel, Millions of Cats, etc. Kangaroo's show was an influence in books I chose for my son years later and it sparked an early interest in me to learn to read. I especially liked the books and the books I remember from Capt. Moose, Grandfather Clock plus this show taught in a child friendly manner long before there was a Sesame Street. Kangaroo was a favorite show of mine as a child.
